    Description

    job summary:
    Global manufacturer is seeking a Remote Field Service Engineer for a project currently in Texas. Position involves about 60-70% travel nationally and internationally, with overtime paid at 1.5 over 40 hours. At least Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar required, will consider military technical training programs.

    Minimum 2-3 years of experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial automation systems such as metals, paper, marine, cranes desired.

    Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, configuration of AC/DC drives, AC/DC Motor Theory, PLC's, and HMI's required. Experience with battery energy, solar or renewable energy highly desired. Must be open to travel in U.S. and Internationall and not afraid of heights. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

    Permanent salary: $85, ,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Provide on-site and remote support of standard and custom power conversion products, assemblies, and systems; including AC and DC Low Voltage Drives, Inverters for Battery Energy Storage & EV charging, Medium Voltage Drives, PLC's, and HMI's for both industrial and renewable energy applications.
