Study Assistant / Study Nurse / Study Coordinator (m/f/d):

The Thorax Clinic at Heidelberg University Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital for maximum care with 310 beds and approximately 950 employees, focused on the latest knowledge from science and research.

The clinic is also a partner in the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT Heidelberg).

To support our team at the Center for Pulmonary Hypertension, we are looking for a


Study Assistant / Study Nurse / Study Coordinator (m/f/d):


Full-time / Part-time:

As part of your work in our study outpatient clinic, you can expect a diverse range of tasks. The position is initially limited to one year.


Your tasks and perspectives:


  • Care for study patients and their relatives
  • Qualification as a study nurse (courses) can also be completed while working
  • Studyspecific tasks, such as blood draws, ECGs, 6minute walk tests, etc.
  • Support in planning, organizing, and coordinating study projects within the department and externally
  • Preparation of reports, recording of findings in electronic databases
  • Correspondence with CROs, sponsors, doctors, and authorities in German and English
  • Participation in the outpatient clinic for pulmonary hypertension patients
  • Collaboration in a dedicated team of doctors, scientists, study and outpatient clinic staff
  • An exciting profession with diverse tasks

Your qualifications:


  • Completed vocational training in a medical profession
