Guest Costume Assistants (m/f/d) in full-time


The Bavarian State Theatre is one of the leading German theatres with a total of three venues (Residenztheater, Cuvilliéstheater and Marstall) and approximately 450 employees.

We offer you a versatile and attractive workplace in the center of Munich.


Your tasks:


You will work independently in close coordination with the costume direction and the respective costume designer on the development and implementation of the costume concept for a production of the Bavarian State Theatre and will support the production from the beginning of rehearsals until the premiere.


Your profile:
A completed degree in costume design and solid experience in theatre as a costume assistant are essential.

Reliability, communication skills, flexibility, enjoyment of working in a creative team, and a dedicated work ethic are very important to us.

As a contact person for the heads of the executing workshops, directors, and actors, you have excellent organizational skills and a special sensitivity for the production's requirements.

The working conditions are based on the collective agreement NV-Bühne (Solo). The position is temporary and not suitable for part-time work.
