    Indiana,
    Kentucky and part of
    Ohio. Bunting has been in business since 1959 and has an existing established territory in this region.

    This dynamic person will report directly to the Director of Sales, and will be responsible for the sale of the companys standard products (material handling, metal detection, and general separation), capturing a diverse customer base including, but not limited to, the food, grain, plastics, automotive, metal stamping, and recycling industries.


    Responsibilities:
    Responsible for the sales of the companys standard products in Indiana, Kentucky, and part of Ohio.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills, to educate potential clients, and provide existing customers with the companys products and services.
    Will build and maintain long-term client relationships, interfacing with customers on a regular basis.

    Time and Territory management skills are a must as you will be dealing with a large customer base across diverse industries, demanding strong organization and planning.

    Strategic territory planning mixed with the ability to execute the plan with little supervision. Spend office time wisely in order to be efficient in the field.
    Be able to sell value and solutions, compared to just features, against less expensive and/or established competition. Be a trusted advisor.

    Be able to ask the questions necessary to properly understand the customer needs in order to not only technically recommend the right solution, but to understand why they are buying, their decision making tree, decision makers versus influencers, their pain points, the competition involved, and what you need to do to close the business.

    Be able to manage short and long term sales cycles by staying organized with follow up and understanding the customers buying decision timeframe.

    Be able to use Internet, Social Media, Linkedin, and other avenues to uncover, research, contact, and close new and existing business.

    Develop and maintain a weekly territory sales plan, call log, and itinerary, using an electronic CRM software package and Outlook.

    Follow up on sales leads and quotes, and update CRM software weekly with status, estimated close date, and the next steps of the sales process.

    Provide inside sales and estimating with a well written and complete Request for Quote form with customer specifications for a potential project.

    Be able to translate a customers need into a written document that can be quoted from.
    Be able to manage Manufacturers Representatives and Distributors in your territory. Work with them on product sales training and discuss financial goals.
    Manage OEM accounts in your territory, maintaining and growing them.

    Proficient in Microsoft office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint etc), and previous experience with CRM software or other database contact management.

    Will work closely with all areas of the inside sales, product management, accounting, estimating and engineering departments to secure business.

    A few tradeshows will be worked in your territory.
    Experience calling on all levels of a customer, from maintenance to operations and executive level. .


    Requirements:
    Territory Management experience.
    Technical sales experience.
    60% plus territory vehicle travel. Travel to Newton, KS once or twice per year.
    Bachelors Degree/Certification or equivalent industry experience.
    Food Industry or Material Handling experience preferred.
    Capital sales experience helpful.
