Description
"I am a toolmaker, responsible for creating instruments for surgeons." - Paul Seeh, apprentice

What does a toolmaker (m/f/d) do?

During your apprenticeship as a toolmaker, you will become a specialist in the production of our surgical instruments. We will teach you how to manufacture and assemble various components and groups using different processing methods. A crucial aspect of this is metalworking, which includes manual and machine cutting. You will learn how to work with tools and machines, and even how to program and operate them correctly. As quality is essential to us, we will delve deep into the topic of quality assurance together.

In the field of stamping technology, you will also create fixtures and tools to support industrial production facilities and carry out maintenance measures on the equipment.

Training location: The practical training takes place at our location in Mühlheim.

Vocational school: In the first year of training, vocational school takes place one to two days a week, and from the second year onwards, it is in block lessons at the Ferdinand-von-Steinbeis-Schule in Tuttlingen.
