    Logistics Coordinator Position in Jacksonville, FL

    Vaco is seeking a skilled candidate for the position of Logistics Coordinator located in sunny Jacksonville, FL. The ideal fit for this role should bring relevant industry experience to the table.

    The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in securing and managing transportation solutions in a customer-focused and sales support role. We are looking for motivated individuals who excel in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly oversee the lifecycle of multiple shipments daily.

    • Build and maintain partner relationships with carrier contacts
    • Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize margins
    • Update and manage Transportation Management System (TMS)
    • Demonstrate ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
    • Utilize analytical skills for efficient logistics planning
    • Proactively identify and solve potential issues
    • Achieve personal, team, and company objectives
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by negotiating rates, promoting services, and fostering professional relationships via phone
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to address shipping needs promptly and resolve any issues effectively
    • Keep customers informed about any shipment delays or problems
    • Provide support to team members as necessary
    • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
    • Build trust and relationships effectively
    • Work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to various roles
    • Dependable, reliable, and committed to fulfilling obligations
