    About the job Manufacturing Engineer II The Ideal CandidateBachelors degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering preferred or experience in lieuPrevious manufacturing experience a plus, not requiredExperience in tool design and modifications, 3D Modeling a plusAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving capabilitiesHands-on, team oriented and committed to business improvement processesSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicProcess-oriented mentalityBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologyProficient with the Microsoft Suite SoftwareAble to perform statistical analysis in MinitabStrong written and verbal English communication skillsPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:Occasionally lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds without assistanceRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilitiesWork EnvironmentWork time is spent in both an office setting and warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high Package Details
