Manufacturing Engineer position within a very stable, long standing aerospace manufacturer located west of Chicago.Utilize your background in CNC manufacturing to drive continuous improvements, troubleshoot machinery, and learn from long tenured leaders within the existing Engineering department.
Our client is an Aerospace focused, precision machining and electro-mechanical manufacturer located west of Chicago.Backed by a multi-billion dollar parent organization, this location is a mid-sized facility with just under 100k in of AS9100 certified of production space.
Utilize background in CNC manufacturing to aid in production and drive eficienciesCreate and utilize relevant engineering documentation (BOMs, ECOs, SOPs, etc.)Collect and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and create solutionsHands on position, 85%+ on the floor - performing active troubleshooting of machineryWork alongside long tenured employees and senior manufacturing leaders to learn in-house processes and preferencesAssist in CNC programming / troubleshooting with the use of MasterCAM4 Year STEM Degree Preferred, not required (Experience can make up for lack of formal degree)~CNC Programming Experience preferred (MasterCAM)~ Driven and moldable individual that can maximize in-house investment and training
