- Completes Inpatient orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educates customers with pertinent information applicable to orders, prescriptions, and administration of medications.
- Manages inventory well.
- Sustains adequate inventory of controlled and non-controlled drugs.
- Provides accurate and timely OTC consults to customers.
- Documents drug transactions accurately.
- Demonstrates accountability and responsibility with Pharmacy equipment and software.
- Operates McKesson system correctly per pharmacy procedure.
- Oversees third party reimbursement and coverage for Outpatient prescriptions consistent with insurances, regulatory agencies and hospital policy.
- Must be a graduate from an approved school of Pharmacy.
- Must be licensed by the State of Kentucky as a Pharmacist.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide care according to licensure requirements.
- One year working experience in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist.
