- Welcoming patients and visitors.
- Answering and referring inquiries.
- Maintaining communication between medical staff, administrative staff, and / or patient / families.
- Patient Registration
- Appointment Scheduling
- Facilitates request for medical and administrative needs.
- Scans and uploads patient paper documents.
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail in either electronic or paper format
- Obtains insurance information on patients and approval for all services.
- Collects co-pays / deductible and outstanding balances.
- Balances and keeps track of cash box.
- Tracks money collected and verifies total against receipt sheet daily.
- Maintains the front office and lobby areas to insure cleanliness and order.
- Contributes to the overall cleanliness and appearance of your personal work space and department.
- Monitors office supply levels and requests when needed.
- Monitors office equipment and make service request as needed.
