My client is a traditional company in Cologne, looking for a Data Engineer (with at least 2 years of experience) to join their team and help with internal processes. Our team consists of talented professionals who share a passion for data and technology. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who wants to join our team to develop data-driven solutions and drive our projects forward.

Responsibilities:

  • You will design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions using various tools and technologies.
  • You will create data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
  • You will work closely with data analysts and data scientists to understand and fulfill data requirements.
  • You will optimize databases and data infrastructures for performance and scalability.
  • You will identify and resolve issues related to data quality, data integrity, and data privacy.
  • You will document development processes, data architectures, and system configurations.

Requirements:

  • You have a degree or training and 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • You have experience in developing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • You have strong knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
