    Take Control of Plant Optimization:
    Process Control Engineer


    What You'll Do:

    Champion Efficiency:
    Identify areas for improvement and spearhead the implementation of new technologies that streamline operations and reduce costs. Develop tools and applications to boost plant performance and predictive maintenance capabilities.

    PLC Programming Expertise:
    Optimize and enhance existing PLC code. Take charge of developing and modifying programs as needed.

    Historian System Master:
    Support the deployment and upkeep of the Historian system to ensure smooth data collection.

    Cost Estimation Pro:


    Prepare accurate cost estimates and project schedules for capital and expense projects, including PLC and HMI systems, software, and installation.

    Participate in project reviews to ensure design correctness, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness in process control sections.

    Dashboard Guru:
    Build asset models and develop user-friendly dashboards and reports to empower operations management and drive ongoing improvement. Define asset model standards and procure process control equipment.

    Project Management Champion:
    Lead plant projects, collaborating with internal teams and external contractors. Develop schedules and goals to meet key milestones.

    Tech-Savvy Leader:
    Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and coding standards. Analyze future plant control systems and implement innovative solutions to gain a competitive edge.

    Team Player:
    Assist fellow process control engineers in maintaining and enhancing existing automation systems. Collaborate with the Corporate IS Department on network, wireless system, and firewall installations. Help develop and enforce company standards, specifications, and policies.


    Skills You'll Bring:

    Education:
    Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering (preferred).

    Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of experience designing and installing heavy industrial control systems, ideally in aggregates or a related field.

    Technical Expertise:
    In-depth knowledge of Allen Bradley and GE PLCs, Wonderware and FactoryTalk HMIs, and Historian software systems. Familiarity with SQL Server and reporting software is a plus. Experience with industrial control systems, PLC programming, and HMI development is essential. Basic computer networking knowledge is beneficial.

    Functional Skills:
    Strong problem-solving skills for electrical troubleshooting and field installation experience. Detailed knowledge of asset modeling for corporate initiatives.

    Time Management Master:
    Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Thrive in a fast-paced environment with complex, technical data and critical decision-making. Function independently with minimal supervision – self-directed, motivated, and highly organized.

    Communication Champion:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Present complex information clearly, concisely, and positively.

    Driving License:
    Ability to operate a pickup truck/car for daily tasks.
