- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between clients, design teams, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the overall project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members to drive efficient and effective project delivery.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and other project-related documentation, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, implementing appropriate strategies and solutions to ensure project success.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to promote collaboration and trust.
- Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to development and construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on owner's representation or development management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and project delivery methods.
- Proven track record of successfully managing development projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
