Then this may be the opportunity for you We are looking for a 2nd Shift Performance Coach/Supervisor to help support staffing operations and performance management on-site at our client, a manufacturing company in Bolingbrook IL.

As a Performance Coach/Supervisor, you will oversee performance management of the temporary workforce.

A successful Coach will partner with our Site Managers and client leadership team to coach employees to success during their first few months on the job.

In addition, you will be responsible for supporting employee engagement initiatives to drive retention and help facilitate a positive work environment for our talent.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct orientation and onboarding activities for new hires to ensure they are set up for success
  • Partner with Site Managers to manage contingent workforce, including coaching to desired performance standards
  • Coordinate on the job training and conduct employee checkins.
  • Address training related questions and queries from employees.
  • Educate new hires on company policies, procedures, regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Partner with operations and line supervisors to manage the staffing needs on each manufacturing line.
  • Partner with supervisors and line leads to identify coaching opportunities for new hires.
  • Work with management to determine training needs and training topics.
  • Develop best practices to improve new hire onboarding experience
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base and FAQs for employees.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with the client through an indepth understanding of the client's business, processes, and policies.
  • Driving employee engagement initiatives, including interaction with contingent workforce on the manufacturing floor (90% of time will be spent on the production floor)
  • Perform daily administrative tasks related to the management of the account
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Identify workforce trends and work with Randstad Site Manager and customer management team to solve potential problems
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager

Skills:


  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills

Pay:
$ $17.01 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Bolingbrook, IL 60490: Relocate before starting work (required)
