We are looking for a new department manager for our banquet and conference department in Alamo Beach, TX.

Ideally, you have already gained leadership experience as a deputy in this area.

You feel particularly comfortable organizing conferences and maintaining customer contact.


All conferences, business events, as well as weddings and birthdays are coordinated in collaboration with the operational banquet management and then finalized by you contractually.


Your tasks:

  • First point of contact for conferences and events in the hotel
  • Preparation of offers
  • Organization of conferences and events
  • Communication and organization of internal processes
  • Interface between all involved departments
  • Creation of function sheets
  • Creation of weekly and annual planning, taking into account optimal utilization of existing capacities
  • Participation in the planning of the annual budget
  • Contact person for guest feedback
  • Representation of the hotel and the Welcome Hotels brand

Your profile:

  • Several years of experience in the conference sector
  • Experience with private events would be an advantage, but not a requirement
  • First leadership experience is available
  • Proficient in hotel software SIHOT is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent manners
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong service mentality
  • Flexibility, creativity, and hospitality
