- Help students set and achieve academic goals
- Engage in academic coaching/mentoring in one-on-one sessions and group sessions
- Teach organizational strategies, study strategies, reading and writing skills
- Conduct individual outreach to students as needed
- Maintain an electronic summary of all work done with students
- Collaborate with CAP team in support of students
- Assist with proctoring and testing accommodations
- Participate in the CAP Summer Transition Program for incoming CAP Freshmen
- Participate in weekly staff meeting
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director
- Master's Degree or higher in Education, Learning Disabilities or similar field
- Experience working with students in Higher Education setting
- Experience working within the context of special education or with students with learning disabilities
- Professional tutoring or coaching experience a plus
