Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Help students set and achieve academic goals
Engage in academic coaching/mentoring in one-on-one sessions and group sessions
Teach organizational strategies, study strategies, reading and writing skills
Conduct individual outreach to students as needed
Maintain an electronic summary of all work done with students
Collaborate with CAP team in support of students
Assist with proctoring and testing accommodations
Participate in the CAP Summer Transition Program for incoming CAP Freshmen
Participate in weekly staff meeting
Participate in ongoing professional development
Perform other duties as assigned by Director
Required Experience/Qualifications
Master's Degree or higher in Education, Learning Disabilities or similar field
Experience working with students in Higher Education setting
Experience working within the context of special education or with students with learning disabilities
Professional tutoring or coaching experience a plus
