    Position Scope
    EnerVenue is looking for a System Test Engineer to join our growing start-up company.

    You will be responsible for testing electrochemical cells, battery packs and systems for advanced energy storage applications as a member of the Product Engineering team.

    Responsibilities
    Develop and execute detailed mechanical and electrical testing procedures at cell, module and system level
    Record test results, analyze data, generate reports and review with Engineering team
    Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams on root cause analysis to solve issues that arise during testing
    Develop and build custom test rigs/equipment and testing infrastructure
    Research, specify and procure required test equipment based on module/system level test protocols developed with Engineering and R&D
    Troubleshoot power electronics (cyclers, inverters) and control hardware on high voltage (1000V) system.
    Determine need for and schedule/perform routine maintenance of testing equipment
    Work with Product Engineering and Manufacturing to identify technical challenges and propose potential design changes
    Train and mentor technicians in the operation and upkeep of test equipment and tools
    Schedule and organize all required and requested tests
    Create and maintain system level testing database
    Experience and Education Requirements
    Bachelor's or Master's in Science or Engineering discipline
    4+ Years of Testing Experience
    Proficient with electrical tools such as multimeters, power supplies, etc. required
    Experience with testing various battery technologies required
    Experience with Battery Cyclers preferred
    Experience with root cause analysis tools and FMEA preferred
    Data management and statistical analysis experience highly desired
    Experience with LabView highly desired
    Experience with Python highly desired
    Ability to interpret test results and communicate to technical team
    Ability to operate and troubleshoot testing equipment and tools
    Good oral and written communication skills
    Able to function and interact in a multilevel team environment
    Database experience desired
    Some travel required 10%+

    Salary Range:
    $119,800 - $141,700

    The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand and competitive market practice.

    Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
