Description

  • Provides professional nursing care through practice, education, and research. The nursing process of assessing, diagnosing, outcome identification, planning, implementing, and evaluating is the basis for all care delivered by this nurse
  • Coordinates and facilitates flow of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Ensures completion of required processes and routine unit specific checks
  • Collects and assesses data required by the individual protocol and reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interprets information relative to the patient's agespecific needs
  • May support high risk nursing care or perform high risk procedures (e.g. infusion and injections of investigational drugs)
  • Work with clinical trial participants and are responsible for evaluating, planning, and documenting the findings of the research study
  • Provide direct care and closely monitor the study's participants, as well as be responsible for recruiting participants and making sure that all ethical standards are met during the study
  • Will work in the hospital setting, rehabilitation, and outpatient areas
  • Required to work, PM shifts, Holidays and weekends as needed
  • Considerable skill with venipuncture and IV placement preferred. This is a parttime per diem position. May convert to career.

Hourly Salary Range:
$ $87.47


Qualifications:


  • BSN required
  • Active California Registered Nursing License or CA RPN
  • Comply with Department of Public Health (DPH), The Joint Commission and other accreditation and regulatory agencies standards
  • Adhere to all Hospital Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge and adherence to Infection Control and Environment of Care Guidelines and Procedures as described in the annual education module
  • Completes Human Subject training, HIPPA, GCP
  • Takes Blood Bourne Pathogens classes
