Duties:


  • You will support the digital transformation of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles.
  • You will provide logistics oversight and Life Cycle Management for technical issues regarding the twelve IPS elements.
  • You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on logistics management, technical data, logistics support analysis, acquisition logistics, supply support, and software support.
  • You will have input to Program Management in support of managing cost, schedule and product support performance.
  • You will develop logistics acquisition documentation, provides input to other acquisition documentation, and determine the acceptability of contractor prepared logistics deliverables.
  • You will resolve technical or procedural deficiencies based on system readiness and life cycle cost data analysis.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a threeyear tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the
    GS12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following
:

Analyzing program requirements; providing support solutions; developing acquisition and logistics documentation; assisting in life cycle cost analysis; material management; obsolescence management; OR reviewing program technical data and readiness data.


Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
