What you will do in Taycheedah, WI:

  • Provide support for local management of chemicals
  • Validate new process chemicals
  • Develop specifications for chemicals
  • Create safety cards for hazardous substances (Betriebsanweisungen für Gefahrstoffe)
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as REACH, CLP, Montreal Protocol, etc.
  • Maintain an accurate database of hazardous substances
  • Lead and manage projects related to chemicals
  • Develop regulations and guidelines, including process descriptions

What you will need:

  • Master's degree in chemistry or a related field such as environmental engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field preferred
  • Knowledge of chemical analytical methods
  • Familiarity with chemical legislation, such as REACH, CLP, and Gefahrstoffverordnung (German regulation)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in both German and English, both spoken and written
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor processes preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of Python programming or willingness to learn
