- As the lead hospitalist, you will lead a group of about 12 physicians and 2 mid-level providers. Our hospitalist physicians typically see between 10 and 15 patients a day. Four physicians work a 12-hour shift, one physician covers an additional 8-hour admission shift, and one physician covers a 12-hour night shift.
- You'll spend about three quarters of your time on clinical work; the rest is protected for administrative duties.
- You'll work closely with other physician leaders and leaders from nursing, operations, and case management to meet high quality standards for patient safety, outcomes, throughput, and utilization.
- You will report directly to the Vice President of Medical Affairs.
- $160 / Hour for Lead Administrative Work not to exceed $100,000 annual
- Competitive base compensation of $1,474 per shift for Hospitalist - Minimum of 140 shifts for full-time
- $25,000 signing bonus
- $15,000 relocation assistance
- $5,000 annual CME allowance
