As a Specialist Accounting, you will be responsible for specific accounting topics and reporting tasks within the finance department, working closely with the team leader.

You will support the ongoing accounting and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB for various key subsidiaries of the Central Region of the TUI Group.


About the role:

  • Analyzing, evaluating, and documenting complex accounting issues
  • Handling changes in guidelines, laws, or other new requirements related to accounting and reporting
  • Performing closing entries and conducting plausibility checks on closing topics
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, notes, and other reports
  • Supporting the internal reporting of the IFRS financial statements for the group
  • Collaborating with the Projects & Business Processes team to improve existing processes
  • Responding to ad hoc requests and preparing special analyses in collaboration with controlling, management, and auditors
  • Taking on special topics, such as participating in large projects, defining new processes, or handling specific tasks related to VAT reporting, financial analysis, etc.
