    Job Description:


    As a Heavy Civil Environmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and managing environmental aspects of a large-scale infrastructure project based in Tribeca, New York.


    Responsibilities:
    Conducting environmental impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
    Developing and implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact during construction.
    Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
    Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and regulatory agencies to address environmental concerns and achieve project goals.
    Monitoring and mitigating potential environmental risks throughout project lifecycle.
    Providing technical expertise on environmental remediation and restoration projects.
    Conducting site inspections and assessments to identify environmental hazards and recommend solutions.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on environmental engineering.
    Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, including NEPA, CEQR, SEQRA, and permitting processes.
    Experience with environmental impact assessments, remediation techniques, and sustainability practices.
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other engineering software.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
