    Job Description

    Lead and direct the region's finance operations to ensure financial information is timely, accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant accounting and taxation principles. Provide financial information, recommendations, and strategic advice to support overall business decision making. Work with the regional leadership team and CFO to execute improvement agenda/process reform across the business, particularly as it relates to the collation of financial information, systems, reporting, taxation, and compliance.

    Products
    • NovoSorb BTM is a man-made synthetic polymer that does not contain any biological materials. This is important because traumatic wounds often contain bacteria that may cause infection. Given that BTM is comprised of synthetic material it does not contain any food for bacteria and has shown to be robust and retain product integrity in the presence of infection. NovoSorb BTM is indicated for use in the management of wounds including partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, chronic and vascular ulcers, surgical wounds, trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, second-degree burns, and skin tears), and draining wounds.
    • SynPath is currently in development
    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA/CA/CMA
    • 10+ years of Finance experience including 5+years leading Finance organisations
    • Experience preferably in a medical device industry
    • Extensive experience in Finance Control and Commercial reporting.
    • Expertise in financial modelling, including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and business planning software.
    • Strong influence, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated record of leading high-performing teams and building effective organizational relationships.
    • Deep business acumen and ability to collaborate with various members across the business.
    • Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to be agile in change management and transformation
    • A passion for continuous improvement.
    • Strong communication, presentation, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to be a strong, assertive financial partner and voice
    • Change management experience.

    Job Requirements
    • Oversee all regional accounting/finance operations
    • Provide excellent leadership and management of finance team
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with department leaders to understand their operations, financial requirements and drivers
    • Ensure financial alignment across the business on strategy and key decisions
    • Drive strategic and P&L performance for the national operations through partnering with leadership teams, state managers, operational and financial stakeholders
    • Lead preparation of annual budgets, forecasting, monthly and quarterly business review and corresponding reports and presentations
    • Review and interpret financial results and manage investigation of budget variances then setting recovery plans
    • Oversee the audit process and other requirements to comply with legislation and parent company's policies
    • Oversee and analyze the activities of the accounting department for the accurate preparation and timely dissemination of financial management reports
    • Drive accountability through consultation and coaching with management so they own and follow through on financial targets
    • Identify opportunities and implement improvements within finance team to achieve efficiencies
    • Identify and drive change management initiatives, processes, programs and strategies for PolyNovo, fostering an environment of innovation
    • Manage cash flow, providing appropriate reporting as required
    • Manage financial reporting obligations, with responsibility for preparation of compliant full year and half year accounts for the region
    • Manage statutory taxation obligations
    • Participation in key strategic initiatives and projects as appropriate
    • Work closely with Finance HQ and align with team and company goals and objectives.
    • Set KPIs for individual team members as required.
    • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching and recognition.
    • Manage non-performance issues promptly and appropriately
    • Role model behaviors expected from your team and in line with company values.
    • Ensure employees are well informed and teamwork is fostered.
    • Ensure team adherence to legal and policy requirements.
    • Manage relationship with external auditors, banks and any local authorities
    • Adhere to workplace health and safety laws, policies and procedures.
    • Report any hazards, incidents, injuries or 'near misses' to designated Safety representative.
    • Participate in consultation and training on safety issues in your work area as required.
    • Other tasks may be assigned from time to time which contribute to the overall success of the company.

    Compensation Information

    Base: $175-200k

    Variable: 20%

    Total Income: $210-240k
