Contracts Manager | Hybrid: Rockville, MD

$100,000-$125,000 | 12 Month Contract to Hire

The Position will focus on contracts in the clinical space as well as have transactional ownership of direct and indirect purchases, utilize purchasing tools and buying systems, and seek cost savings initiatives. This position could also be involved in the support, execution, and analysis of RFP solicitations, spend analytics, supplier risk mitigations, and supplier KPI's.

Negotiate contracts, SOW's, and service agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives focused in the medical and clinical disciplines
Assist in the review and negotiations of CRO budgets in support of company's clinical trials
Facilitates the execution of contracts, including CTAs
May provide support in drafting and negotiating clinical site budgets
Maintain tracker of approved clinical site budgets
Conduct transactional purchasing activities that support Company's Medical, Manufacturing, and R&D organizations
Analyze supplier pricing trends, rate sheet contract adherence, and report metrics on-time deliveries
Work with company's supply chain group on forecasting and pricing for clinical supplies
Support company's RFP solicitation and sourcing process through managing the bidding process, fielding bidder questions, analyzing responses, and creating RFX repository
Support supplier relationship management (SRM) activities including collection of supplier scorecard data, metrics, and defined KPI's

Skills & Qualifications

4-5 yrs experience contract management experience (processing contracts, process POs, negotiation)
3 years of clinical site budget and contract negotiation
5 years of experience in clinical contracting, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, or related experience
Biotech and or Pharma exposure preferred
Oracle experience preferred
