    Job Description

    Penn Apartment Staffing is seeking a full-time Recruiter / Staffing Coordinator in our Austin office. The right candidate will be a team player, bilingual, have a strong work ethic, and some staffing experience. We are a growing staffing firm, dedicated to placing candidates on temp or permanent opportunities in the Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio areas.

    Job Highlights:

    • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
    • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
    • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
    • Interview candidates (via phone and in-person)
    • Advertise job openings on company's page, social media, job boards, etc...
    • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
    • Send job offer messages and/or calls to field employees
    • Keep accurate schedules of employees and their assigned jobs
    • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
    • Craft marketing and sales emails, flyers, social media posts
    • Gather timesheets and address time discrepancies
    • Cold calling/ emailing/ visiting properties to market specific candidates

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

    • Experience with recruiting/ staffing
    • Able to deliver top talent with a high sense of urgency
    • Able to interact with and build relationships with individuals at all levels - peers, clients and upper management
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
    • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must have reliable transportation
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
