    Description

    Join our client's dynamic Space company, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology in high-reliability space subsystems. We specialize in crafting cutting-edge communications, digital, and electro-optic systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Translate system and top-level requirements into detailed circuit board specifications.
    • Create schematic drawings for complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
    • Oversee or provide guidance on the layout of intricate Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
    • Assist in manufacturing complex PCBAs when necessary.
    • Develop test procedures for printed circuit board assemblies to ensure performance meets specifications.
    • Validate designs, troubleshoot, and test complex circuit boards.
    • Provide support for system integration and test troubleshooting.
    • Contribute to internal and external design and development gate reviews with relevant documentation.
    • Participate in customer meetings.
    • Engage in proposals and trade studies, including evaluating proposals from contractors and subcontractors for technical feasibility.

    Requirements:

    • Education/Experience: Bachelor's in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 2-6 years of experience, or Master's degree.
    • Experience in hardware/schematic design, analysis/simulations, layout, and testing.
    • Ability to multitask, work on multiple projects, and support production activities.
    • Strong technical background with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies.

    Desirable:

    • Experience with space design, development, and manufacturing standards preferred.
    • Knowledge of space environmental conditions, including EMI/EMC, temperature, humidity, altitude, shock, vibration, acoustics, and decompression, is advantageous.
