    Technical Recruiter

    Axion Recruitment Inc is an international recruitment company working across North America, & the UK specializing in the Engineering and Manufacturing sectors. We recruit skilled technical based positions from shopfloor to Management level (Direct hire only). Our principal markets include Food and Beverage, Plastics and Packaging, Metals and Heavy Engineering, Machinery and Automation.

    As part of our wider business growth strategy, we have recently opened our West Coast office in Little Italy, San Diego where we are recruiting for Recruitment Consultant / Technical Recruiter to join our team responsible for servicing the recruitment needs of our clients across North America.

    Duties and responsibilities as a Technical Recruiter / Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible identifying, sourcing and engaging potential candidates for positions within the manufacturing sector, example of your day-to-day duties include:

    • Responsible for sourcing and searching vacancies on behalf of your clients
    • Supporting Account Managers with sourcing, technical searches and back-up searching
    • Creating job adverts and searching strategies for live jobs
    • Reporting to Account Manager on vacancy progress and search progress
    • Attending Client Meetings with Account Manager for new vacancies
    • Finding and sourcing candidates for Business Development (Minimum X8 Per Week)
    • Building networks on LinkedIn within your industry sector
    • Creating Boolean search strings to source candidates
    • Checking in with Candidates prior to interview and job start dates
    • Post placement follow ups with candidates that have started jobs
    • Requesting Google Reviews and Feedback from Candidates
    • Preparing candidates for interviews

    Experience required:

    • Proven recruitment background, ideally Agency based.
    • Knowledge of the manufacturing and engineering markets
    • Strong administration and computer skills (Essential)
    • Linkedin, Job Boards, Boolean Searching and similar skills
    • Honesty, reliability and a strong work ethic
    • Time management skills (Essential)

    A starting salary of $55,000 - $65,000 depending on skills and ability, which is reviewed regularly. - Excellent commission structure, paid monthly. (OTE $100K - $110K)
