    Job Summary: Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a challenging opportunity in roadway design? Join the team at VA Dept of Transportation in Culpeper district. As a Senior Roadway Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering expertise, managing projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

    Job Duties:

    - Design, review, and manage roadway plans
    - Serve as project manager for various transportation projects
    - Offer technical guidance throughout the engineering process
    - Collaborate with local government officials and consultants
    - Prepare and present engineering data to different audiences

    Minimum Qualifications:

    - Experience in roadway design criteria and construction methods
    - Ability to interpret plans, contracts, and regulations
    - Knowledge of roadway safety principles
    - Civil Engineering degree and Professional Engineer's license
    - Proficiency in engineering and design software

    Additional Considerations:

    - Project Management certification is a plus
    - Progressive experience in roadway design and project management
