In this position, you will serve the City Wide Facility Solutions - Norfolk VA, one of more than 90 markets covered across the United States and Canada.

    What you will do...

    • The Regional Manager provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure City Wide achieves its sales growth, has the proper operational controls to support and sustain its growth and the people in place to ensure achievement of its financial results. Responsible for achieving budgeted commercial building sales goals, leading its operations, employees, clients and promote company culture and vision.
    • Essential functions
    • List the essential functions of the position in the form of job duties and responsibilities.
    • Oversee City Wide's daily operations and functional departments (sales, operations, finance, human resources, etc.).
    • Implement City Wide business strategies, plans and procedures to achieve its annual sales growth, client retention and staffing levels (employees, vendors and Independent Contractors).
    • Maintain and manage the City Wide budget and forecast. Analyze all financial reporting on a monthly basis and maximize shareholder return.
    • Define and implement strategies to accelerate City Wide's growth – build and influence an effective sales team and strengthen a culture around operational excellence.
    • Establish, implement and enforce policies that promote City Wide's culture and vision.
    • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and engagement in achieving our mission and vision.
    • Enhance financial performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics for continued growth in new building and/or facility maintenance services.
    • Manage relationships with clients, vendors and business partners (Independent Contractors).
    • Improve operational efficiencies to drive client satisfaction (NPS), improved retention and renewals.
    • Lead a high performance team – attract, recruit and retain workforce; make hiring/separation recommendations.
    • Establish and monitor employee performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, and establish sales/operational priorities.
    • Assist in the protection of City Wide by ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, policies and safety regulations.
    • Other duties as necessary.

    Requirements

    Position Requirements

    • 5+ years experience in a sales, account management or operations role with increased responsibility.
    • Demonstrated track record of success managing a sales and/or account management team.
    • Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
    • Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
    • Relationship Building - Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
    • Leadership - Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions.
    • Training - Ability to develop a particular skill in others to bring them up to a predetermined standard of work performance.
    • Coaching and Development - Ability to provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
    • Time Management – Utilize available email and technology whenever possible so you don't waste time physically looking for someone to answer your question. Don't spend hours trying to figure it out yourself if someone can help. Must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
    • Organization – Have everything labeled and in its place.
    • Professional Demeanor – Present a warm and friendly personality and a helpful, positive attitude with clients, other employees, and applicants both in person and on the telephone.
    • Aptitude – Must have the aptitude to grasp the concept of the projects you are working on. Additionally, you must be able to see the "big picture" and prioritize your work accordingly. Ask why we do things so that you can improve the system.
    • Conflict Resolution - Ability to deal with others in an antagonistic situation.
