    Description

    Our client headquartered in Goodhue County, Minnesota, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to develop and implement world-class mechanical designs for current and forthcoming products.

    Responsibilities

    • Produce machine designs and detailed prints that comply with standards and project specifications.
    • Ensure comprehensive documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Provide support throughout all project phases, from machine order to installation, including customer liaison.
    • Accurately estimate and manage workload to uphold project timelines and financial targets
    • Oversee procurement activities and manage the project's bill of materials
    • Serve as a technical expert, aiding the sales and service teams as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field or related experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering, machine design, or related domains.
    • Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD, or similar.
    • Familiarity with machine fabrication and manufacturing processes.
    • High attention to detail and ownership of work
    • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
    • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.
