    Experienced Electrical Engineer with a focus on electrical controls with PLC and HMI, to join our engineering team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining packaging machine solutions to enhance our customers' manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design electrical controls with PLC and
    HMIs, and ensure seamless integration with electrical systems.

    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for electrical controls engineering including hardware and software designs utilized with packaging machines and industrial process systems.
    • Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs and control systems for standard and custom packaging systems used in the food and consumer products industries.
    • Coordinate electrical and control requirements with equipment mechanical design.
    • Ensure electrical equipment and designs meet required standards, such as NEC, IEC, NEMA, UL508A, CSA.
    • Technical writing skills for control system operations and maintenance.
    • Works with service department and customer to conduct in-house factory acceptance testing, and generally provides service department with controls and electrical system support both in-house and at project sites as needed.
    • Coordinate with the production and QC departments to refine and improve work.
    • Meet defined schedules, deadlines, and goals.
    • Provide support for on-site start-ups.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferable Electrical, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to efficiently learn new PLC and HMI software platforms.
    • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and adapt quickly to time-sensitive needs.
