    Metric Bio are partnered with one of the most reputable Medical Device companies globally, as they search for a Principal Level R&D Engineer, with a mechanical/ biomedical engineering background, to work on their highly innovative cardiology portfolio.

    What we are looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar field.
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) or 5+ years of experience (with a Master's degree) in the medical device or related industry.
    • Proven ability to provide technical leadership on large-scale development programs.
    • Experience with design simulation tools and analysis techniques.
    • Solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and clinical knowledge.
    • Experience managing technical aspects of projects within large cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on technical inputs from various sources.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in product development.
    • Experience with complex access and delivery systems development.
    • Familiarity with multi-faceted technology and product development programs.
    • Ability to conduct literature research and develop clinical understanding to support regulatory submissions.
    • Experience with Class II or Class III Medical Device product development.
    • Strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis.
