    We are seeking a Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff at our camp and retreat center, Skycroft You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals in our high-volume kitchen. A shift cook helps ensure that sufficient food is prepared in a timely manner in accordance with quality standards and the meal schedule provided by the food service manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare all served food
    • Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
    • Follow standard recipes
    • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
    • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
    • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields
    • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work well in teams

    Cooking shifts typically run from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. We offer competitive pay and flexible scheduling. The position could be part-time or full time. Some weekdays and weekends are required.
