    THIS IS A VERY FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT, IF YOU ARE NOT FAST ON THE FLAT TOP PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

    We are looking for a FAST ambitious Grill/Flat top Cook to join our team to prepare sandwiches and assist in prep as needed. You will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients for food preparation according to menu recipes.

    A successful grill cook will be QUICK, diligent, and willing to improve on the job. You will be skillful and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen and be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

    Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
    Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
    Accommodate special dietary requests and modifications while maintaining the integrity of the dish.
    Stock inventory appropriately
    Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
    Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
    Contribute ideas for new sandwich variations and menu enhancements, demonstrating creativity and a keen understanding of flavor profiles.

    • Braising and grilling meat and vegetables
    • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

    • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
    • Stock inventory appropriately

    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 1 Year experience as a Grill/Line cook in a FAST paced environment
    • Flexibility with schedule
    • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
    • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
    • Familiar with industry's best practices
