    We are looking for an ambitious Grill Cook to join our team to assist in the preparation of dishes in the kitchen. You will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients for food preparation according to menu recipes.

    A successful grill cook will be quick, diligent, and willing to improve on the job. You will be skillful and able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen and be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
    • Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping/slicing vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
    • Braising and grilling meat and vegetables
    • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

    • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
    • Stock inventory appropriately
    • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 1 Year experience as a Grill/Line cook in a fast paced environment
    • Flexibility with schedule
    • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
    • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
    • Familiar with industry's best practices
