    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Janitorial Equipment Mechanic responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of janitorial equipment to keep our facilities in optimal working condition.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on janitorial equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, buffers, carpet cleaners, and vacuum systems.
    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
    • Troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
    • Replace or repair damaged components, including belts, hoses, motors, bearings, and electrical systems.
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used, ensuring thorough documentation for future reference.
    • Collaborate with the internal team to coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and ensure the timely completion of tasks.
    • Assist in the procurement of replacement parts and maintain an organized inventory of essential components.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
    • Has familiarity with Sanitaire upright vacuums, advance side by side machines and blowers.

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as a janitorial equipment mechanic or similar role.
    • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
    • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as computerized diagnostic equipment.
    • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and inventory.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and provide guidance when needed.
    • Commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
