    We are one of the fastest-growing Commercial Law Firms in NYC We are looking for an Accountant for our NYC-based company with heavy growth patterns in both domestic and international markets. We are looking for someone who is a leader and enjoys working with and leading teams. This person will directly report to the CEO and is responsible for the accounting, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting of the Law Firm.

    Accountant Responsibilities

    • Oversee all accounting staff by directing them to ensure all systems are current and in compliance with legal requirements in all markets
    • Oversee the annual operating, capital, and program budgets
    • Provide support for the achievement of business plans
    • Oversee capital expenditure and initiatives
    • Ensure robust financial forecasting and monitor and update the CEO
    • Regulate that cash flow is on target with current company operations
    • Regulate Payroll Processing, and expense reports process
    • Make sure accounting project timelines are on time and adhere to our brand standards
    • Oversee all-new restaurant accounting systems
    • Evaluate current systems and determine if the implementation of new systems related to accounting and payroll is necessary
    • Be a positive leader helping the company move forward

    Accountant Qualifications

    • 5-7 years as an Accountant
    • Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration
    • We will consider someone outside of the Law Field
    • Proficiency in Excel
