Project Accountant
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of a team of professionals spread across 45 offices in the US, engaging directly with clients and contributing to projects that shape our world. As a Project Accountant at Design Group, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve complex challenges for leading companies. Partner with skilled professionals to deliver high-quality solutions accurately and consistently.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the financial gatekeeper for project revenues, costs, and margins
- Provide project finance support and analysis
- Ensure project setup compliance with finance guidelines
- Review and approve project forecasts based on financial guidelines
- Analyze project forecast variances and present findings
- Prepare and issue client invoices, ensuring timely collections
- Identify project risks and profitability opportunities
- Track project expenses and advise on budget variances
- Monitor and audit travel and expense expenditures
- Ensure compliance with financial and billing policies
- Support financial leadership in tracking business trends
- Provide financial support for proposals
- Participate in training and process improvement
- Assist in annual external audit
- Make a daily impact on client relationships and project success
What You'll Bring

- Advanced Excel skills
