- Consult technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, and codes to troubleshoot and maintain control systems and instrumentation.
- Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment.
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation, including pneumatic, analog, and digital systems.
- Configure and program Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
- Organize and procure PLC control components for maintaining plant process control systems.
- Collaborate with corporate IT staff on network and computer-related activities.
- Prepare technical reports documenting equipment issues and changes.
- Lead projects for implementing equipment changes and improvements.
- Provide on-call support for production needs.
- Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections.
- Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair faulty instruments and systems.
- Calibrate components and systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in plant design, modification, and hazard analysis.
- Maintain computer-based control systems and perform scheduled maintenance programs.
- Stay updated with industry technology advancements and trade developments.
