    Description

    Join our Maintenance Team as we work together to enhance process reliability, product quality, and overall plant performance.

    Responsibilities of the instrumentation and control technician include:

    • Reviewing diagrams and technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, standards, and codes;
    • Maintaining backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation;
    • Managing SCADA devices in an industrial setting;
    • Installing, configuring, calibrating, and maintaining control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation;
    • Configuring and programming PLCs and PACs;
    • Organizing and ordering PLC control components;
    • Collaborating with corporate IT staff;
    • Preparing technical reports;
    • Overseeing projects for implementing changes and enhancements;
    • Being on call to support production needs;
    • Working on electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections;
    • Inspecting and testing instruments and systems;
    • Calibrating components;
    • Assisting in plant design and modifications;
    • Maintaining computer-based control systems;
    • Performing maintenance programs;
    • Keeping up-to-date with industry technology.

    Various instruments such as transmitters, analyzers, sensors, and controllers are used to measure and control variables in industry.
