Description
We are a small foundation that generates funds through business support and coaching with animals in Frankfort, KY.

These funds are then used to operate a shelter-like facility where we have taken in slaughter foals, specifically Freiberger breed, and also have integrated donkeys.

These animals require expert training and exercise, in addition to their basic care. Therefore, we are seeking a full-time horse caretaker by April 2024. We are flexible with the employment model.

A loving approach towards the animals is expected.

Building relationships, providing a solid foundation of training, and ensuring the well-being of the animals through appropriate exercise are our top priorities.

A carriage license is desirable, but can also be obtained if the candidate is suitable. Responsible use of resources is a given for us.

In the spring of 2024, we will begin training the first two Freiberger horses.

They will be ridden and driven, and will undergo a field test in the second half of the year before taking a break to allow their growth plates to close without strain.

While we do not have any competitive ambitions, we do want a solid foundation for riding and especially for trail riding.

An earlier start date may be possible and even beneficial. The donkeys are already trained to drive, with 4 out of 6 animals fully trained. The remaining 2 have been introduced to driving, but still require further training. Additionally, we have 2 cold-blooded horses (Brabanters) that we would like
