- Graduate of a program in professional nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa.
- Must have a BSN or Bachelors degree in an approved course of study or be willing to complete a bachelor's degree within 5 years.
- Minimum of four years in OR nursing.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Call, holiday and weekend rotation
- Work in clinical setting 16 hrs. a week

The clinical educator assists the clinical nurse manager and director in supervising the coordinating of care, planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects of patient care and the overall operations of the department.
Management responsibilities include assisting with staff development and education over the service line areas, daily staff assignment of patient care, inventory control, unit budget, quality improvement, annual performance evaluations, and communication.
