- Experience designing products for Direct Metal Laser Sintering ( DMLS ) , DMLM, or DED

R Additive Manufacturing Technologist
Key Role:
Plan, organize, and lead te chn ical projects and phases of projects involving the design and development of new and improved products and processes.
Analyze alternatives with a deep awareness of industry trends, leading companies, and leading consortium, university, and international laboratory activities. Serve as a te chn ical lead on additive product development projects.Apply additive design tools, including topology optimization and generative design concepts specific to design for additive manufacturing ( DfAM ) using standard commer cia l sof tware.
Collaborate with engineering teams and material scientists to identify and drive projects to enable increased usage of DfAM by facilitating communication and sharing best practices.
Lead and guide team members and business unit teams in work verification.Serve as a subject matter expert in Direct Metal Laser Melting ( DMLM ) Design and Directed Energy Deposition ( DED ) design, research new additive manufacturing ( AM ) te chn ologies, and introduce promising te chn ologies to the AM groups.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD).The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
