Traditional On Ground or Online class: Undergraduate or Graduate class: Graduate
Schedule flexible to meet instructor availability but must fall between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm Monday - Thursday.
OTP 504:
Foundations of Neuroscience (3 credits): This course focuses on the application of anatomy and function of the human nervous systems and its role in development, movement, sensation, cognition, perception, and behavior to support the understanding of neurorehabilitation practice.
Normal function and dysfunction of the peripheral and central nervous systems are reviewed including the spinal cord, brainstem, cerebrum, visual and vestibular systems.
Concepts and knowledge are linked to selected neurological disorders, clinical problems, and case studies.Evidence of engagement in scholarly work
Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license
Ability to use the University's resources, notably technology, to promote effective teaching and learning.
Work collaboratively with the Program Director and other faculty to ensure the course meets accreditation standards.
Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
