- Define needs and requirements of the clients and help in justifying projects.
- Prepare specifications and scope of work.
- Manage project specific materials and equipment purchases. Meet with suppliers, analyze proposals and make recommendations on the solution choices.
- Plan and manage the installation and commissioning phases in our plants, distribution centers and offices, while ensuring that the corporate health and safety standards are observed.
- Ensure the quality, safety and conformity of work and equipment, before and after delivery and installation.
- Follow the financial budget of the projects.
- Provide required close out information to the client at the end of the project (warranty, drawings, updates plant layout).
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the methods of the Project Engineering Department.
- 5 years of progressive experience in engineering and project management, in a manufacturing environment or in a related field.
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- Be available to travel within the USA, up to 30% of the time.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of extrusion and plastic molding equipment would be an asset.
- Experience with Autocad and Excel
- Highly motivated, versatile and dedicated
- Ability to work independently, with strong skills in personal motivation
- Excellent skills in customer relationship management

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic project engineer to join our project engineering team at our Pineville, NC location. The project engineer will be preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects. The selected candidate will work on various projects involving close collaboration with many departments such as operations, maintenance, quality control, health and safety, logistics, etc. The projects will be at our Pineville locations and other locations in the USA.
