The city of Hildesheim, with around employees, provides important public services for its residents and local businesses.

It is one of the largest public employers in the region and offers a wide range of tasks due to its size and resources.

The city of Hildesheim is currently seeking a Civil Engineer for Infrastructure Projects (m/f/d) (specializing in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management or similar) – Salary Group 12 TVöD/ Salary Group A12 NBesG – to be filled as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for leading significant infrastructure projects from planning to implementation, coordinating the work of external engineering firms, and organizing participation procedures.

The position is also suitable for part-time work (from 30 hours/week). A civil service appointment is possible if the necessary personal and career requirements are met.

The position is assigned to the Department of Civil Engineering, Transportation and Green Spaces (Department 66) and includes the management and coordination of the road maintenance and cleaning department.

Department 66 is divided into four sections, with a total of around 200 employees working at five locations. Section 66.2 is responsible for road maintenance, workshops, construction yards, and street cleaning. It is divided into various specialist services and employs around 65 people. The offices, as well as the machinery and vehicle fleet, are located at the construction yard in Mastbergstraße 13
