Your Responsibilities


  • First point of contact for technical clarifications of customer inquiries and the internal sales organization, as well as building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Early design/planning/project management support within the bidding process
  • Participation in the development of market-specific product and solution portfolio strategy
  • Support of quality management in process-related aspects of problem solving
  • Liaison between the sales organization and technology responsible, including creation of relevant NSI documentation
  • Leading the design process for new products, including creating drawings, mechanical constructions, technical data sheets, and technical requirement specifications
  • Leading the cost calculation process for connectors, cables, assemblies, and systems, and responsible for cost-optimized calculation based on customer requirements
  • Technical support for purchasing (supplier selection, evaluation, and audits) and proposing options/improvements to reduce manufacturing costs, as well as technical support for product validation (i.e. all relevant aerospace and military standards, creating initial test plans, supporting basic testing)
  • Creating drawings, mechanical constructions, technical data sheets, and technical requirement specifications for supplier evaluation under the guidance of expert designers (internal or third party)
  • Supporting production technology and process development for production trials and prototypes
  • Analysis of market situation, identification of market trends and competitor situation, as well as support and participation in
