- Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, initiation, execution, and closure phases of acquisition and migration projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including technical specialists, engineers, and consultants to execute project tasks effectively.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their requirements, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify potential risks and issues associated with acquisition and migration projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Quality Assurance and Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate the completeness and accuracy of migration activities.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, status reports, and change requests.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative team environment by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise across departments.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.
- Proven experience (5 years) managing complex IT projects, with a focus on acquisition and migration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with MSP operations and service delivery models is a plus.
